Golden Poms

The Golden Poms Team specializes in technical pom dance and will represent the studio at a variety of events throughout the year, including community outreach performances, Purdue University, UDA competitions and the Golden Steps Recital. This team will also coordinate and host a youth dance workshop. Each member of the Golden Poms will be paired with a Purdue Golduster, who will serve as her Mentor throughout the year.
 
Audition Skills: perfected double jazz pirouettes right and left, triple jazz pirouette right and/or left, turns in a la seconde right and left (1 set of 8 counts), calypsos right and left, turning C jumps right and left, grand jetes right and left, center leaps right, switch leaps right, surprise leaps right, splits right and left, leg holds right and left, strong and precise pom motions with the ability to execute pom work in single and half counts, excellent presentation skills (confidence, stamina, projection, upper-body strength)
