Audition Skills

Team Audition Registration Form (due April 23)

At Golden Steps we have a two part audition process: a workshop to learn the choreography and an audition to present the choreography to a panel of judges. We want each performer to feel comfortable and confident during the audition process. Therefore, the format of the audition is “workshop style” – students will perform the choreography and required skills as a group with several opportunities to perform.

If you are interested in auditioning for the 2012-2013 Golden Steps Performance Teams, please return your Audition Registration Form by April 23 and plan to attend the following:

May 1, 2012 – Audition Workshop

5 p.m. Senior Dance Company

6 p.m. Junior Dance Company

7 p.m. Golden Poms

8 p.m. Golden Steps Twirl Team

May 3, 2012 – Performance Team Auditions

5 – 5:25 p.m. Warm Up/Stretch (all students)

5:30 – 6 p.m. Senior Dance Company auditions

6:15 – 6:45 p.m. Junior Dance Company auditions

7:00 – 7:30 p.m. Golden Poms auditions

7:45 – 8:15 p.m. Golden Steps Twirl Team auditions
