Meet the Owners
Golden Steps Studio has been a life-long dream in the making! Brooke Hardebeck and Alisha Kuckartz have been working together with various dance groups since 1998. They quickly formed a respect for each other and a developed a long-lasting friendship. In 2009, that friendship turned into a Golden Partnership!

It is an honor to serve as co-owner and instructor for Golden Steps Studio. I have been actively involved in the Performing Arts since the age of six. My dance training targeted the genres of ballet, pointe and jazz, and I was fortunate to receive instruction from Kathleen Kasyan, a professional ballerina. In addition to dance, I spent many years competing at the state, regional and national levels with the United States Twirling Association and was also a cheerleader throughout my middle and high school career, which offered me the opportunity to travel to London, England and perform as a UCA All-Star Cheerleader. As a college student, I danced with the American Music Review Show Choir and twirled with the Purdue Marching Band as Girl in Black for three years and Golden Girl #18 my senior year. Currently, I coach the Purdue Golduster Dance Team, Silver Twins, Girl in Black and Golden Girl. I am inspired by live performance in the form of dance, twirling and musical theatre and enjoy sharing my passion with aspiring students.*

I have the privilege of serving as co-owner and instructor for Golden Steps Studio. My personal background in dance performance and leadership has motivated me to open my own studio and share my love for dance with others. I spent ten years of my childhood performing in musical theatre where I developed a love for performance and dance. I was a cheerleader throughout my middle and high school career and have had wonderful opportunities, such as performing at Disney World with my high school show choir and competing at Nationals with my Varsity cheerleading squad. I performed as a member of the Purdue University Dance Team throughout my collegiate career. During that time, I became interested in coaching and instructed the Lafayette Jefferson High School Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squad. After graduation, I found that I loved to choreograph, thus developed, coordinated and instructed several routines for the Benton Central, Lafayette Jefferson, and Purdue Golduster Dance Teams. I have also had the opportunity to be Head Coach for the Central Catholic High School and the Harrison High School Raiderettes Dance Teams. I currently am a certified Zumba instructor and my passion is to inspire and develop a sense of health, fitness, and fun through dance!
